These twelve images represent a return to my traditional past. They were all made on a month long trip to Ohio in November, 2006. Years ago, when I began photography, I fell in love with the images of the traditional West Coast photographers. I have spent many years creating fine black and white prints from 4x5 negatives in the darkroom. In recent years my traditional methods have given way to the digital process resulting in several diverse projects. This gallery shows my current efforts to return to the black and white landscape image. I now come to the natural environment with different eyes and different tools. Although the resulting images may retain some of the flavor of my past, they also exhibit a new found vision influenced by years of experimentation.
